This is a video from and experienced Breeder & Shipper.
Maybe something in this video will help you.............

I have watch this video and several others, but almost all of them talk about packing for overnight delivery. Very few talk about extended 3+ day shipping. My main concern is that I don't have access to pure oxygen or the oxygen tablets (I believe the guy in this video calls them "Bag Buddies") before I need to ship them, so I have concerns as to how well the fish will make a 3 day trip without these things. I will fast them for a couple days before shipping them and use some safe to treat some water that I will use to ship them in, but I am a bit concerned for their safety. Mind you, I have never shipped anything and am nervous because its my first time (I swear I must sound like a virgin) shipping a live animal. I want to make sure the fish survive and that I am making my "customer" happy.

It's good that you are trying to cover all bases and it sounds like you will do the best for your fish and customer.I worry even when my fish are being sent overnight so I can imagine how racked my nerves would be if they had to take any longer.

That is what they are called bag buddies, it sounds like you have everything else cover but I think you need oxygen or bag buddies for them to make the trip, as we all know with the rise in temp. the oxygen levels will drop fast. Good luck and check Dr. Fosters and Smith for the bag buddies.

Problem is I am shipping these guys on Tuesday, which is well before I could get any tablets to arrive. And I have called around to my local fish stores trying to find pure oxygen and all of them just use compressed air.

Bag Buddies are discontinued. If you don't have pure O2 use Kordon breather bags, sounds like the fish are small enough not to worry about bag puncture.

When I have purchased fish they either use o2 or bag buddies but that also depends on the size of the fish

I have shipped fish from too New York too Oklahoma next day delivery it was pretty expensive so if they are common fish its not worth the shipping I used oxygen and purged the fish for two days before you just need enough water to cover the backs of the fish. and I separated each fish. try to pack them in as small as box as possible because they charge by size of box and weight. I was able to get four fish in a 10 inch by 10 inch box, and they all made it there alive. you can get oxygen from a gas supply house ask for a small canister with a hose connection they usually charge you for the month by month It coast me 50 something dollars just for shipping. Good luck

I am not sure what you mean by a gas supply house. A gas station? A propane tank station?
