I had a beautiful RTG Arowana and was too smart to listen to general wisdom and advise from people with educated experience.
I fed it GF, it got anchor worms, tried to medicate, mixed medications and it died.
GF are definitely poor nutritional value source, but their rich in parasite and disease because they are kept in squalid conditions.
Frozen fish food, whether BH, MP, Fish Fillet etc, are excellent sources of food because they contain nutrition and whatever bacteria might still be left in it die because they are kept in freezers.
I have learned that in this hobby, listening to generally accepted principles is the way to go.
