quick armatus question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol, IDK. he kinda swims with them sometimes and has shown no aggression that I've noticed. They ARE all bigger than him, though :D So he knows they're not food like the 2"ers I had that he ate

Tried to take some pix of the tank, but nothing turned out very well. My camera sucks unless everything is perfectly still and as you know balas don't do that.

GOOD NEWS! Saw it eat for the first time :headbang2

soon after putting 5 feeders in, it ate 2 while I was watching. Getting less and less skittish and I'm so excited. Can't wait until it can go in the 300.

If he's swimming up to you he may be hungry....they start realizing where the food comes from quickly, you should start getting in the habit of shaking your hand or showing him the food before you throw it in and guide him up to the corner, always throw the food in the same spot. I would say don't feed him for a whole day and then the next night then try that. He should go right for it. I would stay away from the powerhead for now but I would get some more air in there. You have the temp high, leave it there that's good, and throw in a little salt.

thanks for the tips and input. I'll try that with the feeders now that it doesn't just hide when I come up to the tank. I think I have an extra air pump.
