Go back to where you bought it if you can, and tell them the problem, again...
Instead of asking for a replacement pump, ask for some
"replacement paperwork"
so you can satisfy QuietOnes request...
QuietOne only wants a receipt, to verify that the warranty period is still current.
If I'm not mistaken, there are no serial numbers on their products,
and you do not register online with the company, to establish ownership.
So, I'm sure any receipt for a QuietOne 6K purchased within the last 3 years, will work for the Company.
If not,
That would mean they can look up your unit and tell when it was manufactured/warehoused/sold retail etc. and should replace it on the spot, no questions...
Either way, they need to replace that fricken pump for you...you bought it and already had to buy replacement parts for it, It's blowing circuit breakers like a 5 dolla crack ho...All you want it to do is move water, without shorting out the panel...Dam man, that doesn't SEEM like too much to ask, huh?!?
I guess you'll just have to start making enough noise so they will want to shut you up and make you happy...
Then again you can buy a brand new one and put it in your sump, remembering this time, to SAVE the receipt, and all the packing...
and then get out the toothbrush and WD40, and clean the old one up like brand new, put it in the box take it back to the place where you bought the new one and get a refund.
I love my QuietOne pumps, I have no problem giving recommendations to others that ask about them...What I do have a problem with, is when the time comes for them to stand behind their product, they want you to jump through the flaming hoops, just to get what you already paid for. That is total Bullsiht!! and that is why I'd do the switcheroo on them if they don't come through for ya...
