Thats what I keep hearing, but I don't know. Maybe they have a special "Dave pile", just for me. They say "Dave called again...grab another junk pump to send him".

In the first pic, you can see the 90* elbow off the inlet of the pump. Basically, the heaters would pop before the pump sucked air. In the second two pics, the frontmost pipe(the one with the T) is the return from the pump. The other two pipes are the outlets from the tank.

Mass production could have a bad lot (production run). The return could have been from the same run, thus having the same issue.

Maybe rally and the other people have different pump models, which may explain the difference in the noise. The 9000 may be of a different design.

I think Delgado got a 9000. Maybe he can do a bathtub test for comparison.

I have a 9000 on my tank right next to me and I can barley hear it unless i open the doors to my stand
