sometimes when something hurts you feel all alone..carry it with you that feeling ... all alone in your thoughts.. i hate saying goodbye to a pet... it just not seem fair to me... they ask you for so little and you give them what you can... and they are still and always will be your best friend.. your dog is so beautiful .. i am sorry for your loss.. reading your post i know how you hurt... but the pain is over for Cookie Bear.. let that be your comfort..

Sorry for the loss man...I lost a black lab while I was in college. He was 11 years old. As I am typing this my yellow lab is resting his head on my lap. It's hard to lose such a loyal family member like that.
 
Very sorry for your loss. I know the pain you are going through and that our words can only bring so much relief. Remember the good times and that Cookie Bear will be waiting for you to cross that bridge.
