R.I.P MY PACU

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you want to keep monsters you have to go big and pay for it. Not only would those fish be to big for the tank they'll also be big enough to break the glass on that tank. BTW there's lots of awesome mini monsters that can thrive in a 70g.

i used to put only purified water on my tank that goes for 2 dolar every 20 lt, but i didnt had money that day and i needed to make 20% water change, so i used you know the normal water, and in the next morning i see my 11" channel catfish dead, and i was like WTF and i go ask my dad wtf happened and he said that the normal water on the house has a way alot of clorine, and i was like lol
Sorry to hear I've done 50% water changes without conditioner

Your Pacu and Channel Cat are smart fish...some might say visionaries. They committed suicide because they realized they were destined for a miserable life crammed in a 70G.

Here is an idea...why not buy a fish that you can actually responsibly care for for the creature's entire life? You seem to love the idea of buying huge fish, but don't realize that they are all going to die prematurely because you don't have a tank big enough to care for them properly.

Let me take a guess...you are 15 years old?

Now I take offense to that last part. I am 15 and I may not be the most popular person on MFK... admittedly I can be a bit of a douche sometimes... but you can bet that I do whatever I can to make sure all my animals are happy and healthy, and you won't see me with monster fish crammed into a 70g any time soon. While the OP may be a completely unfit fishkeeper who should probably stick to Venus Flytraps and Guppies for now (seriously OP, do us all a favor and do that, or at least don't wonder why your fish die), chalking it up to age isn't fair for those young animal enthusiasts who properly care for our animals.
OP - RIP your Channel Cat and Pacu, and in case I miss the other threads, whatever other of your fish die within the next few months, and if you AREN'T a young kid than you have NO excuse, whatsoever.
