Had it been part of an articulate post then yes I might agree, he's blatantly tripping over how to explain his view on the use of tools. His use of the phase "my power to kill" scream serial killer if taken out of context with the both the preceding and following phases. He's not commenting on enjoying the animals suffering but about how unlevel the playing field is with him being a human. The fact that he's looking for a faster way to kill the rabbits pretty much kills the serial killer issue. Serial killer take pleasure in pain, he does not.

I cant use anything that that is loud.

No one is suggesting rabbit hunting with a .308. Pellet gun is completely silent, though it is a bit more dangerous that a blowgun.

I just have to say........A head shot is the quickest way to kill anything, and it takes skill to do so.......

A jaw shot is.....Well, a jaw shot......A feeble attempt at a head shot.......

If you aren't confident at taking a shot, don't do it........Not a hard concept to follow........As for a Blowgun and a Rabbit, I just have to laugh.......Why not try throwing rocks? Brings back that primal instinct and will actually kill a Rabbit......

Point is, if you're going to kill something, why not use the tools to actually get the job done? I never really understood that.......I've killed a Deer with a .22 Mag, but it was literally 10ft. away........Nothing like bringing a rock to a gun fight......We havn't even stepped up to the knife yet......

when I shot the rabbit my aim wasnt as good and I just aimed at the rabbit in general. My aim has imprived and If I got within about 20 feet i could probably hit it within an inch of where im aiming. But Im probably not going to use it for rabbits anymore. I might use it on smaller things. I do want to try the sling though. once I kill, clean, cook and eat my own rabbit i will stop... maybe.

So what pestilent threat do the smaller things present ?

Since the concept was killing things because they threatened to overrun the world! Or perhaps that is not the reason for needlessly killing a living creature.

I reiterate, if you hunt for food ROCK ON just use an ammo load out sufficient to the target.

Yet, to kill something just for the sake and thrill of killing it is very poor reasoning.

How old are you fishfreak? I remember you saying you were 14 or something but I'm to lazy to go back and read it.

Anyway assuming you are 14 I think it's kind of weird you are going out by yourself and killing rabbits. Do you not have anything better to do? I'm not trying to be insulting I'm just wondering why you are doing this at all. Why not play some video games? Lots of simulated death.

I'm 15 and i'm not a fan of video games. I think this hunting thing is mostly some sort of phase or something lol. My friend usually planned meetups for my other hobby but hes been busy with his other hobby. And again, The rabbits are pests and i was going to eat it.

I've had to kill a crow before . It was during the huge West Nile virus scare we had here in Chicago a few years ago and there was a crow just waddling around in our backyard. My dogs were barking in its ear and it wasn't doing anything and it was acting very odd. Not having anything else good to kill it with and not wanting to cause too much bloodshed (I was like 16-17 at the time), I hit it like a golf ball using a shovel and it hit the side of our garage in a poof of feathers.

As a kid, I also beat a fish to death with a canoe paddle while on a fishing trip with my grandpa. I thought that's what you did with fish when you caught them...

haha you are WRONG BUDDY!!!! now that you mentionit a 308 or 12 ga.

Have you shot either or seen a kid with no experince do it? He'd probably end up on his ass with a 2000 fps (.308) round flying who know where. I'll grant you that it is as instant a kill as you get but there will be no meat just spray.

No one suggested it till you did, I lack the ability to predict the future.
