Have you shot either or seen a kid with no experince do it? He'd probably end up on his ass with a 2000 fps (.308) round flying who know where. I'll grant you that it is as instant a kill as you get but there will be no meat just spray.

I've hunted rabbit with a 12ga. Use a beagle to flush'em out and blow a whistle. Stops them long enough to take a shot. The whistle doesnt stop all rabbits though.

Trust me any animals you kill when hunting are dying more humanely than the meat in the stores, well unless you're OP ;o

no we arnt terrible. I hunt for some extra food. Its delicious. i also hunt for sport(but i eat my meat too) I dont need to hunt but i greatly enjoy it. Its fun and delicious.

Have you ever watched a pack of wolves take a deer? No most hunter are not terrible, though there are a sadistic few. The choice is simple, bring back wolves, permit hunts or let them starve. Wolves have their own problems for fairly obvious reasons. Leaving them to starve is far more evil than a quick death and a trip to the butcher. Also unless you are dropping 30-50 bucks on Cobei beef the wild animals have a far better life then factory farm. The free range food is about the same as wild conditions wise.
