huh oh no a 3.5l block running 1200bhp. audi s2 2.2l blocks will run upto 1100bhp! lol that is not the point. a VQ swap into a silvia will make her front heavy and under steer happy. for drifting there is no need its a retarded thing to do. the coment i made about strutural strength is this 1500cc in displacement over a sr20det for only being able to run 25bhp more from standard makes it a weaker engine! SR20DET are good for 450-475bhp consistently.

my point is a tuned jap motor should rev past 5,000. a nismo block should be good for double the bhp as standard. and the chasis should take it to. 350z fails on all the above it was designed in cali n runs french low rev engine.

an RB swap into a silvia has a point to it and still competitive just dont see y a drift head would ever touch a vq ina sil is mental.

Stock a hr 350z runs 230whp, and stock it can handle 500whp. Thats more than double.

The nismo revs to 7.5k stock

The Chasis is hand stitched in japan. The whole nismo is made in japan by a company called autotek, realisticaly the nismo isn't even a 350z.

Everything you stated is wrong.

-Seam-welded chassis, this is an awesome upgrade from an already very well made chassis.
-Yamaha/Autech Performance dampers, if you look up j-damper in F1 racing, it essentially does the same thing. Completely eliminates any ride harshness, reduces understeer, more stability on corner exit(especially rough roads).
-Nismo S-Tune suspension, Same struts but with a custom spring rate that is softer than the normal S-Tune suspension. The spring rates work better with the performance damper
-Nismo Catback exhaust, Can't say any real performance gains but it does sound nice. An aftermarket HR exhaust is crazy expensive anyhow.
-Extra reinforcement bar in front of the front strut bar.
-Power Steering cooler
-18" front wheel, 19" on the rear.
-Different computer system for a more aggressive tune
-Nismo custom racing seats
-Brembro brake package
-10.5in rims forged
-All sway bars
-front bumper
-rear bumper
-defuser
-wing that is putting 60lbs of down for at 100mph for more traction
- side skirts

I got at this all day long. The 350z is a great car, but it doesn't even compare to the nismo.

well eudm 350z chasis are built in newcastle.
the chasis n body deign was done in cali and they did buy the rights to VQ from renault.

and as for stats:
VQ35DE 3.5 L (210 cu in) V6
300 bhp (220 kW) at 6,400 rpm
260 ft·lbf (350 N·m) at 4,800 rpm

is what i was going one. as a rule.

VQ lump will unblance as silvia and make her under steer happy. on paper against displacement a sr20det is stronger. Those are to clear facts.

HR, not DE.

I would rather have a sr20 than a DE

Haha, the DE is ****..

I'll agree all day with you on that, it lacks in many areas.

The HR with twin throttle bodies is an amazing engine. Has more potential than many others.

It was annouced better and stronger than the twin jz from the supras.

ah fair enuf still useless ina sliding sil tho lol... stand my my point thou sr20det were and are a heffin strong block. 2.0l for 450bhp is unheard of still. only thing that rivals it n terms of 2.0l blocks for feet of impressiveness is honda's 210bhp na vtec out the s2000 thats just a bit incredible....

fairy muff! i desperately wana sell the s14 and go back down the ae86 route again if i could afford it but weirdly think itll be upgrade to s15 first to save sum money.... gota love how effed prices of cars are...
