Most spots look like ick, but some others look like the secondary bacterial infections the take hold where the ick spot left a lesion in the fishes skin.
To cure ick you need a salinity of at least 3ppt (parts per thousand) otherwise the ick go on their merry way reinfecting. In 150 gallons that means you need 5 lbs of salt, and each time you do water changes, you need to replace the appropriate amount of salinity removed. You also need to keep up the salinity for 10 days to 2 weeks after all spots are gone.
Each spot erupts into hundreds of new ick, so just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they are not there. The youngest ick are microscopic.
The problem with rising the temp, is that those secondary infection bacteria (not the ick) become more virulent at the high temps, and can be a worse problem to correct than ick.
