Really I would love LOVE to head down there one day. I just might not come back.

LOL,with all the great fish down there, might as well sell of all your stuff and move there.

Never thought it would turn into a big debate, lol!
I agree with channarox, but I can't explain why it ain't on the white edge either.
Would love to stay in Venezulea for a month or two!

nobody would stop to think maybe it was there diet, arapaima turn red at tail because of those bright red freshwater crabs, however in a tank thay don't turn red. I say diet and it's a aramatus

Diet? They eat pink/red fish in the wild?

Ha ha. I'm not getting into the blood sub discussion but they look to me like a very unfortunate group of Armatus.Look at the white edge on the tail that is what arms have and that tats dont. They all seem to be either grayish or silvery while tats are usually golden.I guess they must be very delicious.

The veins are racist against the white.

Also they would have to have caught all ten at the same time, because if they were caught at different times some would be more "BLOODY" then the others. the three on the far right are hard to tell from the angle but look to be just as "BLOODY".

They're not all bloody to the same degree.

Gravity explains the accumulation of blood, but it doesn't offer an explanation for the white edge :(.
