Ran over a toad

ahhhhhhh to bad. here in wi window wells are great places to find frogs, toads, salamanders, snakes, and i have even found a couple turtles!

dirtbike riding my buddy rode up on 2 ft or so ant hill and just buried it, there was ants flying 20 feet back, i couldnt help laughing

mad, why have you never touched a toad? you wont get warts, thats an old wives tale!

When we were little my mom used to tell us not to touch them because we can get warts and they're also able to squirt toxins at your eyes. I know it's not true but you know some things just get imprinted on you from an early age

It's not as bad as my friend's mom starting the lawnmower s split second after realizing there was a litter of kittens under it. She's never touched the mower since.....

Phantoms, yeah I find toads/frogs/baby rabbits..even a skunk! in my window wells. i usually get any animal i find in there out and put it back in the woods, but the toads always come back so they must like it. sucks the one you hit didn't make it! that's sweet you tried to help him though. maybe there was internal damage?

That sucks man. I always feel bad if I run over one when I'm mowing. I'm usually pretty good at spotting them.

One side note: toads pop if you run over them with a car.
