Random Exotic Animal Question.

I knew a girl who had an arctic fox, that little bugger was cute, even though it had a particularly nasty temper on occasion.

I would love to have an artix fox, but they are illegal to import, sell, etc, in my state, so thats out of the question.

And PoofaceQ(think I got the name right?) That would be pretty cool to have an armadillo running through the house with tubes going from one room to the next, haha.

And you can get an armadillo if you want, not stealing anybodys idea, and even if you were stealing someones idea, big deal, you want something you get it! Haha.

Just do alot of research before getting one!

Cant wait until I get my fennec!

Well one reason for waiting is that I'm still living at home (I'm only 15) and I'd like to do ALOT of research before I get something. I'd rather not just buy an animal out of nowere and have no idea how to care for it. I want to know anything an everything about the animal that I can possibly find, and save that information, re-read it until its stuck in my mind.

I'd just like to be a responsible owner, and know how to take care of the animal in the best way possible.

The reason for chaning my mind was that I wanst getting the proper information that I wanted, so I decided againnst getting an animal I couldnt properly care for.

And Jason, All I can say is, Win the lotto! Haha! I saw this thing on animal planet were this dude has a huge company that makes alot of $$$$$ and he started buying endangered and exotic animals, he gets alot of stuff some zoo's dont even have! I think that'd be really awesome to do, He has all diffrent kinds of endangered animals, birds, apes, hoove stock, etc. It was really neat.

Its not good to just HAVE them. You need to BREED them if you have something rare. Would I like to have a komodo? Of course! But not breeding it is a crime against the animal, and doing it gives back a little to the species.

I'm not saying you have to start breeding all your pets or anything. But I hope said guy on Animal Planet is breeding his animals.

Haha, yeah they guy was breeding them, and helping conservation and zoo's to get EXTREMELY rare animals.
