and as it has been said several times on this forum before, amount of money does not equal amount of responsibility. I know some very wealthy people that are also very irresponsible and if they were into snakes then it would not matter how much the snake sold for... and on the other hand, I know some very broke people (myself included) that will take quite good care of them.
Regardless of how much they cost, there will be idiots keeping them.

First off, you seriously took my comment and went the wrong way with it. I in no way meant that only rich people are qualified to care for venomous snakes. I'm not rich and I have 40+ .
This doesn't really apply to Florida residence because their laws are much stricter than other states venomous laws. But at our venomous expos I have seen numerous inexperienced, meat-headed, douche-bags walk out the door with hots such cobras because they are relatively inexpensive and they want to impress their buddies buy owning a deadly snake. This is what really pisses me off because the vendors are just as irresponsible and just want to make a buck so they sell a deadly snake to a unqualified buyer, they get bit, and it ends up on the news and fuels the political parties trying to ban our hobby.
I was simply trying to state that if they weren't so inexpensive and easy to obtain, that these transactions wouldn't be as common and therefore less detrimental to the venomous community as a whole.
It really irritates me that you slander me thinking I have some type of God complex instead of asking me to elaborate.
