Just a tip on the pics. Try standing a little further from the tank and using the zoom to get the shots. The reflection of the flash won't show nearly as much.

That's part of my problem. I am using an old out dated camera with no zoom. I have a much better one, but it's missing at the moment.

Careful, there's a ghost in your water.:nilly::WHOA::nilly: Think it was trying to grab your oscar's fish soul.

Jk.

Nice fish, and yeah, it looks like a regular texas. I like that jag that you have, not much of a fan of bare bottom tanks though. Do you feed them pellets too or just feeders?

the fins of that texas terror make me think texas terror lol

Nice looking fish, but man - get some plants or driftwood or something in there. It looks like an LFS tank.

It's not completely a bare bottom tank. 1/3 of it is covered with black gravel. More black gravel will be added along with rocks, driftwood, etc. as I get the money to do so. Baby steps man baby step. After all, I did just get my first tank back in March. kinda tapped out right now.

Nice jag is that a male ?

I have no idea how to tell the sex. I don't know if it's male or female.

Thanks for the complement. I know it looks like an lfs tank right now. It is a work in progress as I said above.

Just curious on your fish, how does the Jaguar get along with the Oscar?

They get along famously. The jag follows the O's around like a puppy. The texas bows up to the jag on occasion (just the Jag), but the Jag just chases it off and that's the end of it. Never any contact.

Nice fish!!! Those oscars are getting beefy!

Sorry, i missed this earlier.
I mainly feed them feeders, but i do give them "true" color flake food about every other day or so to try and maximize their coloration. In addition to that, i also give them w/c grass hoppers and store bought crickets once or twice a week. and I give them beef heart and shrimp for treats.

Thanks for all the complements everyone. :D
