What do you do at the dinner table?

I spent the better part of ten years in various restaurants, in jobs ranging from busboy to Food and Beverage Manager for a hotel and conference center, and all I can say is I definitely place my silveware on a napkin or appetizer plate.....I have seen to things that make me cringe to place silverware directly on a table.

Some of you guys are just freaks. :D Some of you are probably those people that are anal about germs and bacteria with your kids, so you lysol/bleach/go nuts on everything (maybe even the kid), then wonder why the kid's sicker than "normal" kids with parents who simply live. 28 years of putting my utensils on the table next to my plate, napkin in lap, and I've yet to contract the super diseases you're freaking out over. :hitting:
 
So my question for you Jer would be if you are careful not to wipe your mouth or hands with the side of the napkin that touches the table?

Must look odd to have a mostly crumpled up napkin with one side still flat and rectangular lol
