I think that you should get the DNA of your fish tested and then fill us in on the results.
 
How about asking a vet how to take a sample and where to send it to? Needs to he someone knowledgeable in fish.
 
I wasn't saying they would all be orange as with most all amphs fry vary in coloration within the same spawn greatly. Mainly in body shape. An f1 who doesn't feed in the specialized way wc do then I don't see the snout development happening. Here's my creamsickle f1 male. Have him for sale if your interested;)
