I really wonder why they died out of the hobby. They are gorgious fish, breed pretty readily, and were common about 15 years ago. Anyway, I wouldnt pay 500$ for one. I could get a new tank for that!

Rapps statements says it all. The single most requested Am. cichlid species made to him.
That is why he is asking 500. I personally have seen better looking species on the site.

I am thinking on buying it this week. I have the extra $500 too but I'll try and get Rapps down some. As many of you know I already have a Beani in my 240 and pics WILL becoming soon because I am going over my dads house ( where the Beani is) tommorrow and snapping shots of him. He is 14 years old and I grew up with the fish. So anyways I am pretty sure I am going for Rapp's Beani.
