Did you get these from Monster? I had bought a group of the small ones from them earlier this year but they didn’t do well for me and all gradually died off. It was an expensive loss and I don’t want to repeat the mistake if I decide to get yours.

Any advice?
I got these from reef encounters in jersey a while back ago. They closed down

The key on keeping them alive is stable PH. I have a automatic ph monitor and Ph doser. Stable 7.5 ph. They are greedy eaters so When hungry, they will get aggressive with each other only. I usually throw cucumber or lettus in there for them to graze.

I had the same bad luck. They were doing great, and then one day then they started to get thin, and get parasites and die off As though their immune systems were just shutting off. I was told by someone who had success with them that they are constantly hungry( which is true) and can’t take lapses in feeding like other fish, where you can skip a day. They need to be fed multiple times a day for their metabolism. Now I don’t know if this is just in the juvie stage or it continues to the adult stage but with my lifestyle I don’t think I’d be able to keep up with all those feeding unless I had an automatic feeder, or if my water quality could be maintened with all those feedings. This is just my experience with them. I got gotten mine from that batch monster had gotten last December

I feed them a high protein diet . Stable Ph is the key to keep them alive
