Not rare but they're fish which need lots of algae to survive well in the tank.

quite easy to rear bcoz they like bloodworm...shrimp...sometime vegetables

From what I've heard these fish have a completely different body shape when mature.

if i not mistaken...this fish is siamese catfish from mekong river...can grow up to 300cm...is totally differ...
this hi fin are native from china yangtze river only...max size is 90cm only...

the fish you have will look much different when mature. Bderick is right on the money. also, they aren't rare, just slightly expensive

so far so good...bcoz hi fin are peaceful temperament...diet differ & consider as bottom dweller...my aro didnt borther them at all...

i thought hi fin's are cold water fish... not tropical
