Were all here to learn, unfortunately its harder to communicate with a keyboard then in person (happens all the time with texting)

You both made great opinions and even I learned something, by using both your perceptions I can conclude my own opinion on the subject.

From what I have read it seems like a high risk thing to put bichirs and plecos in the same tank. I see a lot of posts where people have personal experience of the issue that i would never put a pleco in with my bichirs. The reality is probably that the pleco isnt getting enough food and to stave off starvation sucks off the slime coat for needed nutrients. Or maybe it is a murderous creature. Either way, I won't be putting a pleco in with my bichirs anytime soon.
