I've just got to know about this arowana last year, as mention it is very rare.

Looks like a Nami Green, I hear they dont develop the pattern until around the 12" mark...
Ive seen SRs with similar patterns on their cheeks

I've only seen them this year, heard about em last year tho. I did a search on myanmar lfs and saw this http://heinaquarium.com/index_files/page596.htm

Ive seen SRs with similar patterns on their cheeks

around 12" the pattern starts forming but in a very slow pace, perhaps a dark tank might help.

SR and Tong yan sometimes develop these pattern on the gill plate, but those are from cross breeding. I've once kept a YellowTail with similar cheek pattern.
