WOW, you live in a gorgeous area.

Yes, we're extremely fortunate to live here. In terms of the new tank, it would have been a lot easier to sell out and move to a house with a cement foundation, but I did not want to leave this location. Probably not a lot of people have a view from their patio like we are fortunate to have.

Yay for snow! But it's still not enough for the slopes :(

Yes, it's been a terrible season for all the snow boarders and skiers in CA. I'm just hoping the Redding area gets lots of rain in April and May so Shasta Lake gets full. I have lots of wake surfing to do this summer. :)

We'd be in a world of trouble if we ever got that much--frozen pipes, etc. We just get the occasional light dusting every couple of years....too near the coast....usually the white stuff on the ground is hail. When there's no white in the trees, I know it's hail.

Here in Michigan I haven't used the plow on my truck to push snow once yet. Just never got much as of 1-16-12. Last year I used it about 12 times already at this time of year. Not complaining though. LOL

WoW! This is where I'd like to move to. Somewhere away from overcrowding, cold enough to have days like this, but not being snowed in for days, sometimes weeks as in other parts of the country. I HATE 80 degree Christmases!!

Yes, but you don't have to keep a wood stove stoked 24/7. :). And you could be wakeboarding/wake surfing with 80 degree weather....guess the grass is always greener elsewhere.
