This is how the river below our house usually looks
The river rose to flood warning stage today in the lower lying areas. Lots of logs and debris in the water. No notifications, yet, about not using the water yeah!

hope u guys stay safe from any flooding. the river behind your house looks beautiful! When do the salmon or steelhead fill it up the most? Looks like good fishing 
We are seeing our first couple snow flakes today...hopefully it dumps and actually builds up a bit.

We are very high up, so can't get flooded. Don't fish, don't hunt in this fishing/hunting paradise. (we're vegan) Don't know about fishing season, but they pull a lot of big ones from the river. People have gone down our trail to go fishing. There are river guides, etc., capitalizing on the fact that there are a lot of fish in the river. Saw otters in the river one time. There's at least one current nuisance bear in the neighborhood. There have been fox on the patio. Neighbor swears a cougar jumped off his roof.. A skunk has gone off under the house--that was really bad--that's country-living
