hopefully i can grab 1 or 2 more tomorrow when i go searching to 6 pet stores with my uncle joe for my birthday

something that id like to try my hand at breeding- zebra plecos and or c. bleheri, id pay 300 bucks in a flash if i found a bonded pair in ct for the c. bleheri, and id buy as many zebra plecos as possible at that time

How 'bout the good old brochises? they're the cory catfish for the monster fish aquarium (i.e. way too big to be inhaled). First one I've seen in the last 3 years was at petco, mixed in with assorted corys (probably bycatch). I bought him, but he was so stressed from being there he only lasted two days :( . every time I see them it's like seeing a 6" neon tetra--you don't expect to see something that looks so much like a cute little cory cat so huge. Oh, and I second the Galaxias comment--I always liked the looks of those guys, never seen one in person.

T. Pustulatus, T. Abei, and a true T. Schroedeneri(sp) .. All 3 of these puffers are really hard to find, and I'd love to own any of em..

But here is a super-rare fish, never seen because they often die in transport.. I know of only 1 person who has succesfuly kept one.

The white knife..

I have one, I did have two but one died. The Petsmart here almost always has them. They sell them under the name "emerald corydoras".
