Would you like me to judge based on show standards or pet shop standards, jk 
Its a nice juvenile checkerboard discus with minimal peppering, I only see that in the fins and not so much in the body and that is a good thing. The only negative I see is that the eye size is a little large compared to body size so keep up with feeding and water changes hopefully the body will grow faster. In the end you want a adult discus that has small eyes compared to the body and nice round shape. Good job!

Exactly why I'm afraid to post my pics...It's hard to get quality discus where I'm at.

ill try to follow your advice!Of course, but I try to support the LFS when I can. I plan on getting a couple Tony Tan fish soon.

Just be careful when you purchase LFS Discus. LFS usually get bad quality discus..........
