Really? Maybe he/she is a late developer lol! There's midas I got the same time and size who's now pushing 7inch! Maybe some of the larger fish stop him eating as much, got any pics of your? Also my dovii is a nicarguen strain, that's prob not spelt right! From don konkerals in the usa, maybe that has something to do with it.
no pics at the moment but mines also a nicaraguan but different strain. mine also have a 240 all to themselves and were top dog even in a community. you may just have a slow grower. mine come from the largest male I'm captivity so they have some monster genetics too

Ok good stuff, should get some pics up! I've been looking at building a tank but been on a few holidays so on hold at the moment! Jus had a clear out in my tank, got rid of my aro and a few of the larger fish so there's more room for the time being!-)
Update, mines a girl. Breeding tube is down, so def a girl a be it a very nice girl! There's a nice jag in there that's def male, he has some nice blues wonder if they'll pair up in time to come? I'll take some updated pics soon people, her blues are amazing now especially as she is female!!
They can fool you from time to time. I'm suprised it tured out to be a female. I had a group of growouts a while back. I thought for sure I had a male for the first 3" or so.........turned out to be a she.
