I have relatively hard to breed fish breeding, have done fish from bettas to cichlids, native fish to saltwater, tanks ranged from 0.5 gal to 100 gal and I research at least 5 fish for every one I accually end up keeping. But I still have a lot to learn because there are so many diffrent things you can do with the hobby.

There really should be the option of all of the above....

I'm a total newbie on cichlids (And will happily stay that way)...Fairly knowledgeable, pretty intermediate to above average with most other fish genera and families, but very much classify myself an 'expert' and accomplished keeper of Trichomycterids and Lepisosteids..(even then There is much to learn)

Nobody can truly call themselves a true 'expert' in all things fishy...one can certainly claim a section or two through hard work and a lot of time spent though...
 
I voted early on to help the noobs...and only two other people said they were novices :irked: With some of the questions out there on the boards, a bunch of people are not being honest :irked:
 
i picked the second one.. i know enough to get myself into trouble. but i have good info and smart folks to help me when i'm not sure.
