ray eating habits/questions

well after a month or 2 of them then just starve for some shrimps then pellets etc.... worms can be obsolete after a month

oh ya for sure !! just happy to see them all pig down , see the one i was having problems with , i traded to another guy , and bought 3 marbles and another 180 for 1000 bucks , and these guys are trained in all foods , worms is all i have right now !@! :nilly:
 
this might be a dumb question , but can i feed my rays chopped up trout ?? that i caught myself ?? cause wouldnt it be the same as prawns or shrimp ??

my buddy fed blue fish before..... just freeze it first make sure there is no bad stuff...

ya cause i was looking in the freezer , and found a bunch i caught in the summer , and i thought why not ? , i mean id cut the bones and the head off ..lol , ahh if the rays dont like it , the loaches will clean it up !@!
 
You could feed trout alongside worms and shrimp, but i wouldn't use trout to replace them.

really have you tried it ?? ,no no i was not looking to replace , just use something i already have ..:)
 
Never tried trout, but I've tried other fillets, like tuna, salmon, sunfish, bass, and smelt. AS long as its fresh its fine.
