Ray eating issue....

I was told it may stimulate feeding. I put it up 1 degree. What do you keep your tanks at? I also thought that higher temps are also good for keeping parasites down. My other tanks are also between 84-86. My tank's a little out of control now so temp is unfortunately not an issue anymore. I mentioned it to be all inclusive but definitely feel free to share your advice. I'm open to different experiences. I'm still working on things now with the tank.

I may have missed it but I don't think I saw a nitrate reading. I have had rays that slow their eating when my nitrates were 40. I usually keep them between 5 to 10 but I had to travel for 2 weeks and my levels creeped up. 2 of my rays did exactly what your did, they acted interested but wouldn't eat. As soon as I got the nitrates back down everyone went back to normal. I also believe your ammonia might be more toxic at the higher temp you are keeping but I could be wrong. I think the temp would be fine if your parameters were perfect but I would lower it to 80 if it were me. Good luck!
