Ray Tankmates - Diamond Sturgeon??

I do agree that rays and sturgeon thrive in different water conditions, but I keep all of my tanks at room temp (plus whatever heat the pumps/lighting add) and all my fish are happy and even breed! Both are doing very well in separate tanks right now (sturgeon are quarantining), so I guess I'm really asking if the behaviors would prevent them from being kept together and living peacefully. Also, once the sturgeon outgrow my 600 gal I will be donating to a local aquarium where I've donated my other monsters 
HAHA! No worries... I knew I was gonna catch some crap for that. I leave the lights on way too long and the tank sits right next to a window. I've since added a flagtail (fei feng) that has taken care of the algae, as well as added some plants to the sump that have helped with any potential future blooms.
Beautiful pick up, I like what you are doing. If you don't mind me asking where did you get then from, do they have anymore at that size, and the they ship. I would like to put one in my 900 gallon?

I picked these up from Dario. He works with Mike (H2O Aquatics). He's a great seller and worked with me even after the package went missing (I'm not sure who these airlines are hiring these days...). Luckily the fish made it and ate well that very same night. Eating NLS pellets and Hikari Sturgeon pellets.

He would have been an even better seller of he had refused to have supplied for the aquarium trade as they do not thrive and grow too big if they do live.

Hmmmm, that makes no sense. If that was the case most fish suppliers would be out of business. Most people buy fish and can not provide proper care for them....think of the common fish keepers that go to Walmart or petco. We all started somewhere.
It also appears peter has the tank size to handle these fish for a while....and he will donate the fish when it gets to big.....I don't see what the problem is.

Seriously though... have you ever kept an arowana, RTC, clown knife, GATF, or any other monster species?? If so, I really hope you have a giant pond or lake that you're raising them in. Otherwise, I consider you irresponsible and a hypocrite NOW, GET OFF MY THREAD lmao!!!!!
