Im happy to annouce this ray is doing great and the disc has grown back at about 98% and will be complete im sure in about another week.
All i can say its a miracle...if u saw what i saw in person and the death curls come and go...This ray shouldnt be here. But I can it was determined to live. I really mean that...
But most important of all. I want to thank You, to those of you here for your moral support and encouraging words~

Cool! Happy ending (please a pix of a survivor!!!) ... i was reading this thread like a suspense novel ^^
... though it does put my ray project on the back burn ... i have no way of transporting ray from my not-so-local fish shop ... minimum driving time from my place to the place i can get a ray is 1.5-2 hours ... after reading mike's comments about ammonia burn (and amonia build up during transportation)i am not so hot about the idea no more.
Hmmm, i did not have the problem of transporting RTCs, arapaimas, silver aros, asian aro and bichir (none were starved before) .... are these any different in terms of waste production (alot less or what?)?
Very happy to hear this. I have a very similar situation with a marble ray in my 300 gallon tank. I have a question: what was your salt dilution...how often you added and did you increase/decrease concentration. thanks
