I just got a call from the city water department telling me I need to check for a leaky toilet or faucet. I explained a drip system to them. We then exchanged "Merry Christmases "

I recently set up a drip system on my pond. I just have a simple spigot I use to control flow..... Unfortunately a phone call like this is all I have to go on as far as how much water I'm using. I've calculated it before measuring the amount of water ran over a minute, but after the 1st month I didn't bother. I guess maybe I need to.

How many gallons a month are you guys with drip systems using?????? How bout without drips?

Classic!!!

I only have my pond on a drip. Other tanks are still on conventional WCs till I figure out a way to get lines ran through the floor in a way that will be secret to the landlords.....

Oh, forgot to meantion..... My 3200 is a week. :WHOA::ROFL: Just shy of 13K for the month. I was at 5K before a drip. 8K the following few months but went up from the 8K to 13K this last month. Think most of it has been WCs on the 2 growouts 3-5 times a week.

Rays in the pond seem very happy though..... :D

One things certain fish keeping is enjoyed be many people that don't even keep fish. Examples including the natural gas commpany, electric company, man behind the seafood counter who knows you on a first name basis, owner of the local hardware store, and the municiple water department.

lol
600 gallons a week
about 4lbs of seafood per week at between $2-$5 per lb and his name is john!!!
2.2lbs of hiakri sinking carnivore every 2 weeks
and looooots of ULTIMATE water conditioner

W/out drip I'm at around 1400-1600 a month. but I'm not running but two tanks. when I have all my tanks running including my old 585 I was like 3-4K a month. and I hated that bill.
