Hi bro,

Not to worry, the pics you have posted is very rare....its like 0.0001%.......Rays and aros are a very good & nice combi. It is very common for hobbists in asian countries mixing them together....

I personally have been keeping them together for about 7yrs.....and this is not only on one setup....but numerous attempts.........therefore i dare to tell you that what you are afraid of will not likely to happen!

yes, i agree for what ezman said too. over in sg, many people mix asians with rays.

the chance of the aro killing the ray is low, most prob is that ray is very small, and that aro is over agressive than norm. Or it was dead/dying and the aro was hungry or agitated..

sometime it's just bad luck.
or if the ray was swimming on top of the glass,
Aro tend to get territorial middle and above portion of the tank.
