Rays not eating

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
do you keep your shrimps frozen??? bad shrimps usually dont end well after fed to rays... up tour temp to 30-32 and add salt

I've been thinking about this one. Upping the temp and adding salt would probably help. Keep the tank dark, and keep us updated!

Those pale spots are not a good sign. Just whatever you do don't try and move them keep the lights off do the salt thing and try to just feed them worms for now. I've lost quite a few motoros to bad shrimp so I think thats your problem.
Today I found much less pale spots. I hope I don't lose them.

OK, I'll keep on updating.

Today, both my Motoros started eating again!
But neither of my Leos showed any interest in food.
I did another 15% WC.

Well, I'm glad the motoros are eating, at least. Keep us updated on how the leos are doing.

Today I fed them again, my Leos are swimming normally again but still aren't eating. The pale white spots are completely gone. The female Leo took a shrimp but spat it out again, so I guess they're one step closer to recovery.~
I'll be treating them with Waterlife Octozin once I get my hands on some.
Mean while, I'll be adding more salt till the density is around 1ppt, reckon that's ok?

Happy Spring Festival!
Not much good news though, but they are still surviving.
