Slightly frozen? I have heard that is not good for rays. The mp's I feed them with are thawed, so the temp of the mp's are higher than the water.carcrazy;2721945; said:

The Leo is much much more active today, probably due to the abortion! I'm getting Waterlife Octozin tomorrow and at the same time I'm selling my pair of mm's and motoro's, gonna miss em' so much...
everything just sounds too similar to the prob ive had in the past. and ive also seen the same, when a mother aborted her babies early...
we could not figure out what it was until i saw a parasite floating around...
im not sure what octozin is but, all im tryin to say is prazi...
also, why sell ur rays if ur gonna regret it?
once i found the prob, my rays were back to themselves in days....

I have had no problem with feeding them cold mp and they have bred in the tank on this diet. I defrost them in the microwave and then cut them into smaller chunks. I like to feed them this way better as the totally thawed warm shrimp seems to break apart into tiny pieces while they are eating them (lots of pieces of shrimp floating around in the water). I'm selling my mm's and motoro's because I need to make space for my tiger(tiger"s" soon) and antenna(hopefully antenna"s")... yeah I 've been thinking about it a lot lately, but since the ones I'm selling don't have problems(I'm not selling my Leos and as of right now they are the only ones with problems) I still decide to sell them.
The signs do seem to point to parasites. If you haven't found one, I would still at least dose prazi. I have been thinking about this, and I can't think of anything else that would cause that in clean water.

75 tablets of octozin! I lowered the water level to 50% and b4 I could even react, a Leo killed a BGK (poor fella' had no where to go, now 4 left) and so I thought they had started eating again but no...
Wierd thing is they look active and chase for prey but they don't eat.
