Rays on a budget- My (somewhat long) story w/pics

Last time I had some money, I went to a superstore and looked all over for a big package of unlimited resources...never found it.

Another thing that would be great instead of money would be a couple of full time employees...but they all think they need to get paid too. I'm all like..."but this is a great place to work."

When I get employees...this is gonna be the second guy I hire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DOm_RiklE4&feature=player_embedded

Kid turned 18 last month...somehow I was dumb and offered to let him stay here free of rent as long as he was taking college courses. Would I be a jerk dad if I started charging him a couple hundred a month for utilities? LOL...

haha love that video,

and sounds like ur sons only a year younger than i am, so yes, that would be a jerk dadish thing lol

lol love the video. and hey you have paid for everything the first 18 years of his life now he can pay up to the next 18 or until he moves out right?

lol no you cant do that even with a job. that will make him want to move out faster and an 18 year old kid on his own dosent usually stay in school. thats for sure lol. i think he was just playen on that one. look at drop out rates of kids living at home compared to living on there own or even on campus.

Yeah, I was kidding. He makes enough to cover his gas and stuff, and I charge him $20/wk for using the truck. It's mostly just so he get's used to having a "bill", but it helps cover the insurance.

The baby is still hanging in there, no better, no worse.

Well, she was better all day yesterday...even chasing the little Tilapia around.

This morning, she's dead.

I've studied how mushroom poisoning kills people...so I understand the process, but at the same time, I was very much looking forward to posting some good news today.

So sorry. Its even harder if you're not exactly sure what caused her death.

Keep at it, soon this will all be a distant memory of "a few growing pains learning the ropes"

I do know... I poisoned her and she certainly must have died from kidney and/or Liver failure.

That's what I get for trusting a water change schedule instead of testing regularly. I think the biomedia eventually got overwhelmed and caused everything to spike....that was right about the time she was born...

Another mistake that's not easy to admit...but that's the fact, and I gotta live with it. Test kit is on the way. I took another sample in since the first test, and everything is good now after a week of flushing and adding Stability.
