Yeah, I think he went too quick for infection to set in... It looked like as the blood left the bruised area, that is was all just dead tissue.
Moving forward...
I did more work on the new pool, and I made sure not to neglect support capacity for another pool above. I'll get a picture a bit later...and I need some more lumber. I really don't think that the upper pool will be as big of a deal as I had thought initially...It's just an engineering issue...I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. This new pool will give me plenty of space until I collect a few more.
I also didn't forget about the Tilapia that are going to hatch pretty soon. I was able to get another 55g tank filled Last night, and it should be warm enough soon. This will be perfect for the White Tilapia fingerlings, and then the fry can go into the 10g.
I have 1 more 55g tank outside that needs to be re-sealed...After that, I'm officially out of Tilapia space...But that is another issue that I'll just find a way to overcome....
These things are all challenges...not problems. If it was too easy, I may have gotten bored with it by now. I've never really stuck with anything that ends up being easy. One reason why I love racing... It's never easy to run up front, and I run my racing operation with the same "refuse to lose" attitude, and the same "So what if they have more money" philosophy. Life's victories, both great and small, are always much better when you have to work hard for them.
