nice website man that awesome, did you design it or is it already made and you just created a link to it? was that the awesome deal?

It's not my site, they created an affiliate link for me. It's an awesome deal because I believe in this feed, I use it, and now I can offer it to others and make a little money doing so.

Buy all you want...They'll make more. ;)

Mike

that is a pretty sweet deal... so is that guy just holding on to the tilapia for you until you get your pool set up?

Yep. He's an older fella, and I just happened to come along at the right time. I plan on being ready for them next week...

The stupid inflatable ring around this pool I have seems to not want to hold air. It's too slimey to try and find the leak right now, I might just go buy a smaller one for $50-$80....

Mike

just go to walmart and get 5 or 6 of the little kitty pools for like 10 bucks... drill a hole in the bottom of each with a pvc pip sticking up through it, like an overflow. then stack them on plywood and 2x4 shelves, boom 5 or 6 different breeding pools just like that

I grabbed up another Intex pool, but smaller. 8 ft diameter, 30" depth 675gal. $49.99

It's almost full.

I think for the breeding tanks, I'll use Rubbermaids. And I'll be sure to get the right ones this time!

The round kiddie pools just won't fit in the ramaining space that I have in the basement.... but I can stack the rubbermaids just as you are suggesting.

Mike

works just as well, itll be interesting to see your pool full of tilapia.

on another note, do you have one ofthose vacum sealers? for when you decide that you want to start shipping tilapia filets to people and such. If you decide thats something you want to do

That IS something I want to do...However, I've already learned that selling them alive, or whole on ice, gets me around the FDA hoops and such. For now anyways....

awesome thread even though i can't view the pictures! you have a very talented way of explaining things with your breeding projects.
