Rays on a budget- My (somewhat long) story w/pics

haha so how much money have you wasted on towels recently?
 
No towels...lol.

We have this dumb little carpet cleaner thing that sucks out maybe a half gallon at a time. Gets old after about once...lol.

haha ive got the same thing, if youve got a shop vac they work on water too, then just dump out the entire mess wheny our done, careful not to fill it up to much n make it heavy though
 
you can get a small one at home depot for like 40$
 
I've been seriously considering putting my pair of B&G Macaws up for sale. They laid eggs 2 years ago, and I havn't been able to keep them in the proper environment for breeding ever since. I have them back where they were when they laid the eggs, and they seem to be trying to nest...but now my "office" is in the same room. So they get distracted more often, and they SCREAM at like 110 decibels.

Any thoughts? any interest?

my thought is try and hold out a little longer if you can, i really really liked your idea of a complete amazonian environment with the macawas above water and rays below
 
could get some amazonian fire ants in there too...thatd be cool...JK, could get a green iquana or something though , then youve got it covered land ,air and sea
 
Great surprise today!

Turns out I'm not dumb, and the big girl WAS pregnant. Have 2 nice pups 1 M 1 F. The male is a bit smaller and he is spotted somewhat like the last batch. The female is a bit pale right now, but looks nice. I'll get pics tonight or in the morning after they settle for a bit.

The male got nipped at a little bit before I got down there. Not too bad though.

No wonder I was starting to second guess whether she was pregnant. She's a big girl, and only 2 pups. I woldn't doubt that it had something to do with moving her right after conception. They went through quite a bit of stress before I got them settled into the pool.
