Rays on a budget- My (somewhat long) story w/pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sent out another pup last night and just verified that he made it just fine.

Hate to think of shipping Rays as ever becoming "routine", but so far the packing has been good and the heat packs have done their job.

This time I used all of the same stuff, but I only used about 3/4 of a bag buddy.

There are 3 pups left here, and I'm just not in a big hurry to sell them. They havn't changed a lot since the last pictures, so I'm just kindof waiting to see how they develop.

So, Althought I would gladly sell them, I'm in no rush to place an ad. These ones are kindof hard to try and put a price on since the parents are so unique.

Yes. Live arrival gauranteed 100%.

I'm not totally decided on "official policy"...but I don't really even like the idea of the customer having to eat the shipping...But for now, let's just focus on getting them there alive.

ah thats good, i was just curious..... hey are you selling frozen tilapia as food yet? of course i wouldnt be expecting live arrival on those lol

I'm using Premium brand fry powder (in my sig). The fry require a nearly constant supply of feed.

I don't have the frozen feeders available yet, however I am actually working on a "fish cookie" feed product that I may offer in a couple formulations.

Fish Cookies will be of a consistency somewhat like a chewy soft-bake cookie wich will allow them to be broken into chunks of proper size...

I think this will save a lot of hassle for a lot of people. No more ordering multiple pellet sizes and multiple batches of multiple stuff...

The best part, is that on my current "in-house" scale of production, the cookies can be entirely customized for any species, and can be offered in low-fat formulas for those big fellas that are all done growing.

This is actually happening fairly soon too. I'm already feeding my "prototype" batch, and I have a few changes in mind for the next batch already. when I make the next batch, I will carefully weigh everything to get an idea on pricing, which should be VERY reasonable.
