Did you notice any change in the overall color of the rays (did they get lighter)???

Yes they will get lighter and it will effect there slime coat. Did you recently get some wild caught rays?

Yup. About 6 weeks ago. And introduced another that was bought from another member here.

Still all seem to be eating fine, I just noticed my 2 bigggest females got really light all of a sudden. I thought they were just stressed from the male (as they both have some bites/hickeys) guess I was dead wrong.

Is Binox the only med you recommend?

This sounds hard core scary. DB I hope yours don't have this. Raising temp to 90 seems odd because dealing with gram positive and negative bacteria at work, 80-90 degrees is optimal growing temps. Must be all 3 (salt, temp, and binox) combined that do the trick.

Maybe the temp is just to boost the rays immune?

i removed the sand what a "F"ing nightmare but its done added 4lbs of salt so far and am working on getting the temp up they dont seem to mind there not being sand which i am not used to

there color and everything looks perfect except the 2 new rays fins are a lillte nub looking

my last set up used to run up to 96 every day... that high doesnt seem bad... treating bacteria in rays and others i did prefer maracyn and maracyn 2

My rays have done the twitch thing every now and then but I have never seen any signs of bacteria , discolor, or disc rott. I'm assuming every thing is o.k.
