Yup looks like the head is popping a little more. As for the little pearls on the flower line, in my opinion I think the black might end up fading as the pearls develop?

I think that may be the case. He has been popping more pearls by the week, I only wish they would start spreading onto his head some more. He also has started getting pearls in his tail and on the edge more too.
would be great if it retains the same flowerline in the coming years...that is black bordered by fantastic green pearls....would be fantastic to see those in an adult feisty guy
I asked for more pearls and he is getting them. It's hard to see a difference day to day but from the first photo to the latest you can see he has gained some tears from the back corners of his eyes, and around the gill plate.
Refocused this week and got some more done around the house finally. The tanks got a bit of work done too, and both flowerhorns are settling down again after the cleaning. I found the time this morning to get some photos done, they didn't like it but I few came out ok so here's an update.
Had time to make a before and after photo.It's already a bit dated but I'm trying to catch up on stuff.
He's gettin some nice trailers on him! He is going to be a stunner when he gets fully grown. What are you feeding him?
