re-aquascape(opinions please)

Tanks look good man. Bocourti are beautiful. I picked up 3 of em a couple months ago only because they were cheap and the lfs didn't know what there were. I forgot how fast they grow!

I like to stack all my wood and stones in one pile, allowing more open space and smaller fish to seek refuge.

But it looks nice as is, but if you're bored, I'd weigh the needs of your boredom compared to your fish's comfort.

That works with small fish sometimes but not in this case. He has large growing fish with big pieces of driftwood. Stacking everything in the center of the tank would actually be stressful on the fish and less functional since it would drastically limit their amount of swimming space.

Well he could stack everything to the left and keep middle and right completely open...

Or larger tank!

Very nice. I like it, is that a regular shop light?

Truly cool to see a pearsei and bocourti in the same environment. Nice aquascaping! I have both in my set up and so far so good.

I noticed on the bocourti / pearsei tank there is a large piece of driftwood poking out the top. I assume that part of the tank is open? I would be a little concerned about losing one of those beautiful fish out the top of the tank if that were me. Just a thought. Other than that I think it looks really great.

I like the floating plants. Where did you pick them up?

those are just plastics plants(cant keep live the bocourti eats them)the ones on top of the tank are pathos house plants just the roots stick in the tank(great for controling nitrates)
