Thanks everyone for the encouragement.

Ah man, no way! Wow... I'm sad too, I have a lot of nice memories with that fish, multiple MFKers loved that fish very much. I was happy to see her with other MFKers that loved her as much as I did.

When she was in my tank, she was my favorite too, she was active, she LOVED eating, and had a beautiful bronze/olive color.

At least we still have all the photos of her since she was only 6".

Sorry for your loss bro, I felt the same way when I lost my retropinnis female, and when I had to sell all my bichirs.

What I can say from experience is to not give up, and don't let this get you down. Like Julian said, you will have more 20" beasty congicus soon.

I never expected to come home to find a dead bichir. If I did find a dead bichir. My 20" Congicus is like the strongest bichir in my tank! I guess life is always full of suprises. Really sucks to lose her, she was my favorite and probably my best bichir ever. Like you said, she was active and loved to eat and she got greenish in my tank. I know I will have more 20" Congicus but none will look like her. She was a unique beauty, her headshape was impressive.
