I don't think you are aware of the definition of an arguement, a debate is an arguement. An arguement is not just when children fight over a toy, it is discussion of any disagreement (not necessaarily hostile). For example, if you said lamb was better than beef, and I said "No, I think beef has more flavor and a more appealing texture," then that would be an arguement. btw, I can't help but wonder about the actual maturity level of the opposing party in this debate, since the person in question is supporting the existence of mermaids. Look at the body shape, you can clearly see that one half has the distinct shape of a human and the other a fish (well a cartoonist's version of a fish, but whatever). And I never said that it was a hybrid, it is obviously a regular human in a rediculous costume, but I said that a mermaid would have to be a hybrid since it is supposedly a cross between a human and a fish. You are making very feeble arguements (yes, they are arguements) that are not facts at all, just evidence that you are completely ignoring your common sense (assuming you have some degree of common sense), especially where you likened seeing a mermaid as half-fish-half-human to seeing a gorilla as half-monkey-half-human. Hypothetically speaking, if I saw an animal that had a the torso and head of a gorilla and the lower half of a human, then yes, I would believe it to be a cross between the two.GoodPho~D;4198012; said:This isn't an argument. It's not like we are little kids here. We can talk it through like adults. It's a debate. However my point supports my point more than it does yours! This is a debate whether not this is a video of an authentic mermaid or not. Mermaid are said to carry human and fish like characteristic not a half human half fish. I have stated that A. Due to the soft tail fin and the fast rate of the fish like human and B. new animals are being discover almost daily and that much of the ocean bottom have not been discovered that it might be possible that mermaids might exist and that this may be an authentic video. You state that this is a video of a half human half fish thing?!? however in the video you can clearly state that the thing is not half human and half fish. In the video you can clearly see that the thing doesn't carry human like features, such as two human eyes, human nose, human mouth, human fingers, human nails? But you do see human like head, arms and human like upper body?!? So if you just saw a mountain gorilla for the first time walking up right from a distance you would say that its a half human, half monkeyMy point in the platypus is that there are animals out there that carry traits of different animals. From a distance it could look different from how it looks like up close. I'm not trying to prove the existence of mermaids but giving the facts of what could or could not be. I do not see you proving your point that this is a half human half fish. You say it is a hybrid? Nothing my friend
has proved your point.

It's obviously fastforwarded, you can't believe everything you see in videos on TV etc., if you do then I don't think you will ever get very far in life.GoodPho~D;4198073; said:If you do state that? it would almost be impossible to swim that fast without using your arms. In the video both things aren't using their arms. Not to mention how soft the tail fin looks. A human being would have a hard time swimming that fast.

I think I addressed most of your arguements, but I don't know for sure, I honestly didn't even read the entire thing since the majority of it sounded like the kind of thing you'd hear from someone who just got out of anesthesia.
