That is one awesome set of pics.

That is the very reason we should all keep our digital out of the case and ready to go right next to our tanks..

Bad for the JD, but well done with the shots

Thanks for sharing

Just so u guys know, that Jack Dempsey wasn't meant to be food for the Peacock Bass, It had been living in there for a week and even my big 20" Cichla left it alone. I guess the 16" one decided to give it a shot. It was 6.5" and thick!!!! Too much to swallow. I eventually had to remove the JD and sure enough it was still alive but badly bruised.

 hes scared for life

and another thing u just took pictures insted of quickly takeing him out ur crule...........lol

I was studying the crime scene and needed to take evidence. The JD wasn't moving so I thought it was dead already. I was worried for my Peacock. It was only after I removed it I found out that the JD was still alive.

BTW this Peacock may not be my biggest, but it is my most aggressive one so far. Will strike anything, including tank mates. I lost 2 9" TSNs to this guy when he was about 14", and he's 16" now. I'll try to dig out pics of those.

LOL i remember that
