Did you forget to treat the water during your major water changes?.................... I grabbed the wrong bottle of api one time and burnt out 5 carribe pirahna, the API bottles of tap water conditioner and water clear look exactly alike- another long shot is mercury poisoning thermostates use mecrury as the medium to gage temperature.
nah I did water changes on my 75 and 125 exactly the same and everything in the 125 is fine...and there are clown loaches in the 125 so if it was anything I did during the water change, they'd have been the first to go.
on friday I bought some feeder platys to put into the 55 and they're still alive and well so I think the 90% water change and carbon got rid of the issue but the amarillo were too far gone by then to be saved.
