She was around 7 months old or so here. The pic is dated 21Dec17. I got her mid May.

The easiest, non evasive way it to tease them with food so they start swimming strait up and down.View attachment 1330868

In male's these holes are nearly the same size. This is female. The back hole being bigger than the front.

We can't call it saved yet. If it gets thru the next 48hrs and is eating and moving about then we can cheer lol

Gave it a hide and some fake plants. I dont have a light for this tank right now but it is getting some dim lighting from a neighboring tank so its not totally in the dark. I tried to feed him but it's not eating yet. Cross our fingers and try again later.
